Drawing and Talking is suitable for anyone from the age of 5, who has suffered trauma or has underlying emotional difficulties.

Trauma takes many forms and puts the brain into survival mode, so that the individual is unable to relax or engage with the world around them in a fully productive way.  For children this can result in becoming disengaged from education and can even lead to exclusion.

This therapy helps individuals recognise and process, emotions, triggers and behaviours. They are able to take back  control of their behaviour and most importantly have higher self-esteem.   

It is designed to complement, not replace,  other specialist therapies.

12 week one-to-one Drawing and Talking sessions for those who find it difficult to talk about their emotional and mental health issues. 

No drawing skill is required.

12 week one-to-one Drawing and Talking sessions for those who find it difficult to talk about their emotional and mental health issues. 

No drawing skill is required. 

This is an early intervention, non-intrusive therapy, designed to let an individual process their feelings internally, in a safe environment at their own pace.  

Each session lasts for 30 minutes and is client lead. The sessions are confidential and everything is kept secure. Therapeutic questioning by an advanced practitioner guides the subconscious further into exploring and processing situations, thoughts and feelings in a safe space.

Each session is themed around particular issues or emotions and lead by an advanced practitioner. 

Family sessions allow for a safe environment to explore emotional topics without blame or judgement.

Fun, supportive, empowering. Add on options of guided relaxation and mini art workshop.
